ABSTRACT
The article presents information on a consent agreement which has been submitted by Myspace Inc. to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC). This consent agreement has been filed for removing alleged violations of federal law. This consent agreement has been displayed on the public record for 30 days for receiving public comments. According to the FTC the social networking site has made numerous misleading promises to its users and also it violated Section 5(a) of the FTC act.
