ABSTRACT
The article presents information on a final rule issued by the U.S. Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) of the U.S. Department of Transportation regarding amendment of its regulations related to installation of the positive control systems. This rule has been issued in accordance with the Rail Safety Improvement Act of 2008. The FRA is soliciting petitions and public comments on this rule by August 27, 2012 via electronic mail, fax or in writings.
