ABSTRACT
The article presents information on a final rule issued by the U.S. Postal Service regarding revision of its mailing standards for prohibiting the international mailing of lithium batteries and devices. This final rule will be effective by May 16, 2012. The Postal Service has issued this rule for aligning its international mailing standards in compliance with the international standards for accepting dangerous goods in the international mail.
