ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the creation of Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection in the U.S. which serves the purchasers of consumer financial services and their protection. A focus is on the political and economic conditions which lead to the creation of the bureau, the nondelegation doctrine and controversies related to the appointment of Elizabeth Warren as the director of the bureau even though it satisfy the appointments clause doctrine of the U.S. Supreme Court.
