ABSTRACT
The article offers the author's insight on the use of the alphabet for searching information about geographic information systems (GIS). He states that a searcher may find and identify a useful set of resources to better understand GIS by entering every letter of the alphabet. The author discusses the experiment he made for searching information about GIS using the alphabet and the Google search engine, which led him to different links related to the topic.
