ABSTRACT
TECHNOLOGY firm QinetiQ, which used to be the Government's military gadget-maker, today warned contracts are being delayed in the US because of this year's elections. Chief executive Leo Quinn said "uncertainty is expected to continue" until they are over in November. QinetiQ, which makes bomb disposal robots, posted a 3% rise in underlying full-year pre-tax profit of �118.3 million, helped by its UK services business which carries out training and cybersecurity.
