ABSTRACT
SUM Royal Opera House's Linbury Studio, WC2 THE singers don't sing much. The text feels more important than the music. You might call it total theatre rather than opera. But this piece from composer Max Richter and director Wayne McGregor, turns SUM a book by David Eagleman which I now must read into an immersive, meditative and sweetly fascinating hour and a half of whatever it is.
