ABSTRACT
KYIV. May 23 (Interfax) - The parliamentary faction of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc-Batkivshchyna left the session hall at the Verkhovna Rada on Wednesday to protest the majority's decision not to consider legislation proposed by parliamentarian Taras Chornovil, which would have amended the Criminal Code and Criminal Procedure Code so that convicts suffering from certain diseases be exempted from punishment and can receive medical treatment abroad.
