ABSTRACT
The article reports that U.S. House Agriculture Committee's Subcommittee on Livestock, Dairy and Poultry Chairman Thomas J. Rooney has held a hearing on dairy program reforms that are under the 2012 Farm Bill. Participants discussed issues with existing dairy programs and provided feedback on proposals meant to address such issues. University of Missouri assistant research professor Scott Brown was also on hand to provide economic analysis of policies that were discussed in the hearing.
