ABSTRACT
The article discusses the relocation of First National Bank of Pennsylvania's regional headquarters and a suburban branch to the state's capital city Harrisburg. First National's strategy for building market share is noted. The city's municipal spending and filing for bankruptcy which was rejected in court are mentioned. The article notes four state capital cities that have at least one community bank with significant deposit market share located there.
