ABSTRACT
A MAN with eight weeks to live was told he could not cancel his Virgin Mobile contract which runs until January. Terence Allen, 62, of Witham in Essex, was diagnosed with oesophagus, liver and stomach cancer last Friday. Customer service staff told him he would be liable to pay the outstanding sum, about 160, if he ended his contract early, despite his offer to send in written medical evidence.
