THE most disconcerting statistic from yesterday's torrent of numbers was not that sentiment in the eurozone is depressed even further than it has been, or even that London house prices have eased off a fraction. Rather, it came in discussion of the report from the Financial Services Consumer Panel where it emerged that in the past year there were 250,000 complaints by customers to the Financial Ombudsman.
