ABSTRACT
The article reports on the implementation of the Senior Wheel Elective at Preuss School, University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Through this program, 12th-grade students were able to fulfill three components of Preuss graduation requirements which include service learning, research and writing, and internship. It notes that the three distinct elements of this service learning are academic study, fieldwork project and tutoring underclassmen.
