ABSTRACT
The article reports on the moves by residents in Nebraska City, Nebraska to assist the people across the Missouri River in Iowa who were devastated by the Great Flood of 2011. According to city executive director of tourism and commerce, Rebecca Turner, they consider the people living on the other side of the Missouri river as part of Nebraska City. The opinion of city administrator Joseph Johnson on the flood is also cited.
