ABSTRACT
The article features 2012 American Institute of Architects (AIA) gold medalist Steven Holl. Information regarding Holl's childhood in Bremerton, Washington, his involvement in car designing in high school, and his education under architectural historian Hermann Pundt at the University of Washington in Seattle is provided.
