ABSTRACT
Christa sedlatschek, Directora de la Agencia Europea para la seguridad y la salud en el Trabajo, ha explicado que los sectores tradicionalmente de alto riesgo como son el de la construcción, la Pesca y la Agricultura debido a la situación de crisis actual, con menor mano de obra implicada y menor actividad, registran un menor número de accidentes. sin embargo, hay otros sectores, como el del Transporte por carretera, especialmente afectado por la siniestralidad. Respecto a la prevención la experta asegura que sigue siendo imprescindible desarrollar campañas informativas para sensibilizar a las empresas sobre lo que puede ser un riesgo laboral, sobre todo en las pymes. También resalta la importancia de hacer hincapié en los trabajos de investigación.
