ABSTRACT
The article discusses haptics technology which allows touchscreens to touch back. It states that haptics delivers vibrational or tactile response through a device or screen. it elaborates on the three ways haptics is implemented through eccentric rotating masses (ERMs), linear resonant actuators (LRAs), and piezoelectric actuators. It also mentions that haptics provide increased user satisfaction, product differentiation, and enhances man-machine interaction.
