ABSTRACT
The article explores the major challenges and future trends in the process of recruiting and retention while describing how technology, global business environments, and generations of employees' impact the role of the human resource professional within the organization. It discusses the different generational aspect of people being recruited, to examine effective recruitment sources and specific retention management techniques that human resource professionals will encounter during recruiting and retention processes. It also mentions that the utilization of the Internet through creating a company website that will attract candidates and can be accessed through search engines has increased advertisement opportunities and the amount of individuals who apply for open positions.
