ABSTRACT
The article discusses the casting for the film "The Cure," directed by David Gould. Auditions for the film were held in Wellington and Auckland, New Zealand, but others auditioned over the internet. The film's lead actors Antonia Prebble and Daniel Lissing recorded their auditions in Australia. Gould states that Prebble offered a different image of the character of Beth in her audition. Author Rob Woodburn was assigned in finding the actor for the character of Ryan, Beth's partner.
