ABSTRACT
The article reports that some long-distance travelers might be at risk of pulmonary embolism (PE) and deep vein thrombosis (DVT) according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). It says that the changes in the blood pressure and circulation can increase the risk of developing thrombus/pulmonary embolous or blood clots and edema or swelling. Moreover, ways on how to prevent swelling, blood and lung clots are suggested.
