ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in several cases related to school education including Brown v. Board of Education, Green v. County School Board, and Missouri v. Jenkins. It highlights the common incongruity in educational opportunities based on skin color in the U.S. It discusses the achievement gap in black-white that cannot be elaborate with the differences in average family incomes.
