ABSTRACT
The article discusses the art and science of chiropractic which reportedly started in Davenport, Iowa on September 18, 1895 after a hearing was restored through a manipulative adjustment procedure by Doctor David Palmer. Palmer was a magnetic healer, a type of hands on therapy practiced by many medical practitioners of the period. The article cites the wellness revolution which revived the chiropractic profession to its role in providing whole body health.
