Global economic database expanded

The article discusses the expansion of the database of worldwide economic information used in the evaluation of trade agreements between nations by the Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP) that includes data from 15 more countries, released by Purdue University. The GTAP is a global network of researchers and policy-makers that conducts analysis of international policy issues. The new GTAP 8 Data Base contains data on over 120 countries.
