ABSTRACT
The article warns farmers in the Midwest region about the potential of early herbicide treatments to wear off well before weeds reach their peak growth, according to Purdue Extension weed specialist Bill Johnson. Johnson advises farmers to use full set-up herbicide application rates when making post-emerge treatment, or to adjust the amount of herbicide they use. He also recommends the appropriate herbicides for corn and soybeans.
