ABSTRACT
The article reports on the Web-based database developed by the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) to provide information on pesticides allowed for use on a limited basis under emergency conditions. The database of Section 18 of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) can be used by growers, farm advisers and licensed pest control advisers/applicators. The database is said to be a part of DPR's commitment to expand the Web-based services of the agency.
