ABSTRACT
The author summarizes her research on prenatal administration of dexamethasone as the standard of care for attempting to mitigate genital ambiguity in girls with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH). The author mentions the risk posed by daxamethasone therapy to the pregnant woman, the exposed fetus and the person the fetus may become. She cites the reminders established by the case of dexamethasone therapy for the prevention of homosexuality in women.
