The article explores the life and work of the artist, fashion designer, and textile artisan Nicole Dextras. Particular focus is given to how her fashion designs, which are constructed entirely of organic matter including flowers, twigs and leaves, are intended to educate onlookers about issues of sustainability and the clothing industry. Dextras' artistic process is also explored.
