ABSTRACT
The article discusses the Sunshine State Young Reader's Award (SSYRA), the annual awards given by SSYRA committees/readers to fictional books appropriate for students in grades 3-5 and/or 6-8. It mentions the selection meeting held every April wherein 20 librarians discuss on the books that are worthy of the award. It states several free additional resources, such as Power point and/or book trailers and winning book poster, that can be downloaded from the Website www.myssyra.org on 2013.
