ABSTRACT
The article offers the author's insights regarding the Florida Teens Read Award received by the book "Graceling." The author relates that is hard for a writer to finish a book and let go of it since it already belongs to the readers. She says that the media specialists of Florida has made the program for the recognition to be possible. She mentions that her next book titled "Bitterblue" features the birds of Florida.
