Russian government approves measures for support of domestic petrochemical industry

The article reports on the measures approved by the Russian government in 2012 in support of its petrochemical industry. The measures are expected to govern the industry until 2030. The measure involves the development of the industry using the cluster concept. It will focus on large-capacity petrochemical production and related processing industries. The petrochemical production clusters will be based in Western Siberia, the Volgia region, the Caspian region and other areas.
