ABSTRACT
The article offers the author's insights and experience of unintentionally letting other people know that she has diabetes. She says that she has not told her daughter's teacher, neighbors, and haircutter regarding her disease, but a bartender, a Starbucks barista, and a Swedish Embassy security guard knew it. She relates the situations in which she had to inform each of them regarding her disease.
