ABSTRACT
The article offers information on global distribution systems (GDS) which provides suppliers limited capabilities to describe their product offerings. It states that allowing GDSs to source current rates from the suppliers directly is the only solution of maintenance challenge as hotel companies are inefficient of doing it. It aims at providing consumers a standardized product representation and provide them with accurate, informative data that provides them reassurance in making a decision.
