ABSTRACT
The article presents a study conducted by U.S Government Accountability Office (GAO) regarding investments in hedge fund and private equity. According GAO representatives, hedge fund, private equity and investment in pension plans has been affected by financial crisis in 2008-2009. It is also discussed that there is need for continuous growth of investment plans.
