ABSTRACT
The article reports on a labor contract won by New York City's hotel workers. The labor contract gives them a substantial raise, health and dental benefits. Fox commentator Mark Engler cited a criticism on the prospect of housekeepers in New York City making 60,000 U.S. dollars. A new report by the Restaurant Opportunities Centers United noted that women working in the restaurant industry are not doing well.
