Planned Parenthood of Toronto has a brand new addition to the World Wide Web, launching its premier Canadian web site for teens on April 26, 2002. As the site states "spiderbytes.ca is a service of the Teen Sex Information Program, a program of Planned Parenthood of Toronto and is funded by the United Way of Greater Toronto." The site is divided into five major content sections: sex, sexuality, health, relationships, and puberty. It also includes the obligatory sections providing more information about the people behind spiderbytes.ca, how to contact them, resources and referrals, and legal issues. Each of the five content sections of this site has a different background colour and they are tied together with a common geometric, spider web graphic. This helps visitors easily navigate and locate themselves within the site. With respect to the navigation of the site there are a couple minor concerns. It is not immediately evident that each of the five content sections of the site has its own FAQ (frequently asked questions) section. Each content area of the site includes a number of interactive surveys aimed at promoting informed decision making. For example, under the general heading Sex and the subheading Sexual Readiness is an eight-question multiple-choice quiz that assesses youth reactions to sexual situations and how other people in their lives may influence their sexual decisions.
