ABSTRACT
The Vavilov�Cherenkov radiation appearing in a circular regular ideal waveguide with a chiral medium is considered. The features of the emission spectrum excited by a charge moving along the waveguide axis are investigated. Expressions for the energy loss of a moving charge are obtained. � 1999 American Institute of Physics.
