The article discusses the process of executive selection and headhunting in Great Britain. Main reason why executive search firms and outside selection consultants are retained by companies to help solve their manpower management problems is that they are objective rather than subjective. A most valuable asset of the outside consultant is that he can bring tremendously wide experience and knowledge to bear on the process of executive selection.
