ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the University of the Philippines (UP) School of Library and Information Studies (SLIS). It states that UP SLIS celebrated being part of UP for 50 years. It emphasizes on the importance of technology advancement to SLIS in rendering their services. It relates that SLIS is making the research outputs of UP open access. It also mentions that SLIS plans to be moved to the building occupied by the Institute of Biology in 2012 as the Institute moves to the Science Complex.
