ABSTRACT
The article presents an outlook for India's macroeconomics in the second quarter of 2012. Business Monitor International Ltd. (BMI) continues to believe that real gross domestic product (GDP) growth will come in at a three-year low despite positive Purchasing Managers' Index data. It mentions that the outlook of the country's private consumption activity remains downbeat as cost pressure place burden on household budgets. Also included is the formation of the country's gross fixed capital.
