ABSTRACT
The article reports that the refined sugar industry is creating false information about the health aspects of high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) as compared with the refined sugar. It reports that this false information is spread with the help of a faulty consumer survey and an inconclusive scientific study. According to Audrae Erickson, President of the Corn Refiners Association (CRA) Inc., study does not compare high fructose corn syrup with sugar made from cane and beets.
