ABSTRACT
The article discusses the highlights of the inauguration of the first exceptional rose murals in Lyons, France, in June 2011, which is part of the celebrations surrounding the 25th anniversary of the American Rose Foundation. It says that the Association Roses Anciennes en France played a lead role in the ambitious project endorsed by the General Council of the Rhone, the Regional Council Rhone-Alpes and the city's municipality. The two newly published books about roses are also discussed.
