ABSTRACT
The article discusses on metal theft in farms. It states that Oconee County Sheriff Scott Berry, president of the Georgia Sheriff's Association has recommended state legislation to fight metal theft to Georgia Farm Bureau Board of Directors. It mentions that a law which requires permits to sell metal was passed in South Carolina and it includes other regulations that make it easier for law enforcement to trace criminals and the same has to be enforced in Georgia too.
