The article offers information on how to manage movement disorders. It mentions that the monoamine oxidase B (MAO-B) inhibitor selegiline is proven to be effective in slowing the progression of Parkinson's disease. It states that treatment with primidone and propranolol is indicated if essential tremor (ET) causes functional impairment, or emotional or social problems for the patient.
