ABSTRACT
The article reports on the public hearing at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in Washington, D.C. in November 2011 which focused on the needs of veterans with disabilities to gain civilian employment. The panelists emphasize the role of employment in facilitating veteran's transition to civilian life and recovery from injuries. Also, the panelists point out that many veterans do not realize that they are protected by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
