ABSTRACT
The article focuses on several questions regarding the Park and Recreation Operating Ratio and Geographic Information System (PRORAGIS) system at the 2011 National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) Congress in Atlanta, Georgia. It states that permitting agencies to defend budgets based on data is a revenue-supporting feature of the system. It adds that the system will enable users to engage in demographic information and operations-related data with geographic information system (GIS).
