The article focuses on the "America's Backyard," a public awareness campaign launched by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) in 2010. It says that the campaign aims to create public awareness on the importance of parks and to create revenue to finance public programs, research, and advocacy. Furthermore, access to park and its protection are basic values of American people.
