ABSTRACT
The article reports on various data showing the development of diseases in pigs in times of hot weather. Anecdotes confirmed that heat-stressed, grow-finish pigs are more likely to develop diseases such as enteric diseases which contribute to diarrhea. Moreover, data from diagnostic laboratories found that among the most common infectious agents of diarrhea include salmonella and Lawsonia intracellularis.
