ABSTRACT
The article discusses the agricultural practice of farmer Leon Sowers where he believes that no till is the best way to preserve soil and protect it from erosion and also states its role in protecting the crops during drought. As stated, his practice of preserving the soil has increased the farm productivity of crops like sorghum and soybean and also has reduced its input cost. The challenges related to the cost of glyphosate and the availability of drills and good equipment are also discussed.
