ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the harvest of cotton crops at various locations across the U.S. including Texas, California and Virginia. It discusses the impact of rain and bad weather on cotton crops which thereby act as a determining factor for setting the price. It states that the year 2011 was a challenging year for the cotton growers of the U.S. as despite of facing drought and scarce rains, they managed to get good yield of the cotton crop.
