ABSTRACT
The article reports on possible decrease in milk prices in the U.S. in 2012 due to slowing demand. It reports on the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) economist Roger Hoskin, who expects milk per cow to rise only slightly in 2011 following the increase in feed prices. It states rising milk production in Oceania and weakening international demand will impact exports. INSET: Product exports to hold steady.
